Valentine’s day is coming, a time to treat a friend or yourself to some fresh new makeup and hair products. After some research and test-drive, these are the ones I’d like to suggest for you to try.

Please note that all of these products are made with organic ingredients, without artificial chemicals that’d harm your health. And, I am not sponsored by the brands. Be happy and trust me.

Meet Lip2Cheek by RMS, a beauty brand I often use. Founder Rose-Marie Swift started RMS after she had serious health issues several years ago, due to the toxic heavy metal in the makeups she used as a makeup-artist for over three decades. Thus, she created this line.

Having read the list of ingredients in this product, I feel comfortable recommending this product. Lip2Cheek is an all-in-one lip tint and creamy cheek blush, the color shown here is called “Beloved” of a warm red tone. You can use it to add a touch of color and brighten up your complexion.

Ilia lip moisturizer, tinted lip moisturizer, lip balm, recycled aluminum case
Ilia lip moisturizer softens your lips with natural ingredients

This Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner contains 100% organic dye and filled with up to 85% bioactive organic ingredients. Its red color is slightly cooler than RMS’s “Beloved.” It would goes well with all skin tones; the one shown here is called “Bang Bang” that reminds me of a Cher song by the same name.

Founder, Sasha Plavsic referred to her years of branding experience and gave equal attention to the visual aesthetic of the line as well as the quality of her products. Once a sleek recycled aluminum case was chosen, she sought chemists and an organic supplier to create a line of ethical products. The Tinted Lip Conditioner is Ilia’s signature product, and the first one she launched since 2011.

Klorane dry shampoo; oat plant, spray can, power-shampoo
Klorane oat milk dry shampoo is great for a on-the-go quick freshen up

If you thought dry shampoo was a recent invention, like me, then we are both wrong. In 1971, Klorane developed the 1st dry shampoo, now it has become hugely popular (1 is sold every 10 seconds) around the world.

The Oat Milk in this dry shampoo freshens up your hair with nourishing oak milk. It smells nice and is easy to use. Comes in a spray can that lets you control however much you’d like to use. I use this product after my work-out when a shower isn’t immediately available. You can also use it to add more volume and style.

Founded more than 50 years ago in the Southwest of France, Pierre Fabre, driven by his passion for plants and the belief in their health and beauty benefits, created the Klorane brand. On their website, you can even choose products by their organic ingredients such as chamomile, magnolia, olive extract, and mango butter, just to name a few.
